It was a very cold morning and I headed out the door to meet a very special person, baby Liam. I was greeted at the door by Peaches, the very cheerful dog. She was so welcoming and playful, that is until I pulled out the camera. She then turned into a fearless protector because she thought my camera was some torturing tool to hurt her sweet little baby. It is so amazing to me how quickly a pet can become so devoted to a new member of the family. It almost made me to cry because it's so selfless and loving.
This is the first child for Liam's parents, but they seem like pros. Liam's dad could probably stand up against any swaddling expert. I was so impressed. Liam's mom was so peaceful, confident and relaxed and set such a great example for moms everywhere. What a wonderful family.
